I'd go with the bolts too, since you can get fletching xp as well from adding the feathers.

see the thing with bolts is i know u make less but compared to any other range ammo these will hit the hardest of dem all for example u make 1k bolts and 1k darts...bolts will hit more den darts over all

But against cave slimes at range lvl 77? I don't think she needs the extra accuracy or power to kill those :P , so because darts are so much faster I would recomend you stick with those (Maybe to a mix and make addy bolts for slayer and mith darts for cave slimes, I think that would work out well ::' ).

She is doing cave slimes independant from slayer, only to make some money selling the tars...And I said that making bolts out of the addy bars for slayer would be the best course of action... -.-

Then just make the highest platebody you can, with sc hammers, and then either sell or alch them.

I am going for quest cape (which is in my bank for 1,5 years) so I need 63 herblore (and 62 farming) I boost them to 65 ;) So the extra herb xp is always needed :P [and I love smelting/smithing got lvl 76 without buying stuff)
