July 1, 200917 yr I want to post pictures but I can't figure out how to get the white background out of them. Example: Can someone tell me how to do this.
July 1, 200917 yr Load it into image editing software. Then there 2 ways: First way: Add a transparent layer into the image and move it to behind the actual image. Then erase the the white areas. Save as png or gif, as they are the only 2 decent image types to support transprency Second way: Replace the white with an obscure colour not in the picture, eg neon pink. Then export as a gif or png. There shuld be an option to repalce colour x with transprency, pick ur colour. July 1, 200917 yr If you have photoshop you can simply used the backround eraser tool and click on any of the white areas while having the diameter of the tool fit inside the whole picture. By the way next time you save a picture, always save as .PNG, jpg and jpeg's compress the picture too much.
July 1, 200917 yr first don't ever save pictures in paint as .jpg becuase you will see the quality loss.always save it as .png or .gif how to make them transparant isn't going to work in paint (i think, I have a mac so I am not sure) use photoshop or gimp or whatever else. If you save it to .png I can delete the white space for you without keeping white lines as lord_diddy does, I can do it right now too but I think that is a waist of time. http://sign.tip.it/1/2/79/260/essiw.png Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. Thanks!
