Runecrafting

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,

I was playing the Great Orb Project Minigame and I compiled tokens. I'd like to know what should I spend my tokens on to train my runecrafting (f2p)? Is this game a good way to train? If not, what is the best?

Thanks :)

Its a good way of training. I would suggest doing either water or air runes. I would also suggest using falador teleport. So here is what you will do, depending if you are going to buy air or water tabs. Bring air/water runes and law runes and tabs in your inventory and after you craft you should have air, water and law runes in your inventory so that you can teleport back. Bank at the west bank and repeat.

EDIT: If you want better experience you can keep collecting tokens and wait till you turn member and do law tabs instead which are better money and faster experience. This what I did basically, I waited till I had 1mil tokens (I went from 60-81 runecrafting) and I started spending them in members. It was quite fast experience, I did laws from 81-82, astrals from 82-88 and bloods from 88-91. Or you can spend them on pure essence and end up with a tidy bit of profit. Remember that 1 token = 1 pure essence. And with the current prices of pure essence reaching up to almost 140 ea, there is a lot of potential for great profit.

You can't just take them in game with you? Unless you PK, I don't really see a problem. I still believe if would be more worthwhile to hold them until P2P, unless you plan on never becoming a member again. Then I could understand using them in F2P.

I agree with pure, tokens are far more rewarding if you spend them in p2p. Just keep them in your inventory and try not to do any dangerous activities.

I find tabs are rather pointless for actual RCing. The time spent on playing outweighs the time saved with the tab. An actual good use for them is for obscure teleports. Earth altar, law altar, and several other altars are close weird places that are difficult to get to.

Well, your idea is smart but going back to p2p isn't in my plans. So I think I'll choose the tabs; but which one would be the best for exp?

Thanks for all your answers :D

If you're just looking for raw experience, law runes. I think that they sell for the most profit too.

And i suppose the time spent to get the obscure teleport tabs doesn't outweigh the time it takes to just walk there? :wall: :wall:

On Topic: I'd go with water tabs for actual runecrafting and do the falador thing, and i'd get essence and just sell it if you're looking for good money.
