sa121 Posted July 4, 2009 Share Posted July 4, 2009 So, I'm thinking of getting more firecapes, for placeholders and for pking... But I really hate taking 1-2 hours to do all the waves up to Jad. What's the fastest way to get through the fight caves? I know before multiple fire capes were easy to get, Muggi did a fight caves round in 55 minutes or something like that, so if anyone can explain a set-up/equipment to do fight caves fast, that'd be nice. Also, please don't suggest anything insanely expensive; I'm not desperate enough to spend 20M for a fast fight caves round. muggiwhplar Posted July 5, 2009 Share Posted July 5, 2009 As my stalker friend has already explained, I did indeed use void and karils xbow. I kept eagle eye on the whole time and range potted whenever my range dropped 7 lvls (from 112 to 105). Also instead of waiting at safespots for monsters to come, I ran around, hunting them down ignoring all the damage I received. When I'd find a melee monster like a 180 or a 45 and there weren't any 360s or 90s around, I'd hit-and-run them as I headed for a safespot. The key is to not waste any combat turns whenever there are monsters present. you can also bring some super pots and a godsword or a dark bow to speed things up. I think I brought a dark bow with me too. before I made any attempts, though, I used this to calculate how many prayer pots I'd need, assuming that I'd have eagle eye on 100% of the time, and one of the protection prayers on for most of the time too.
