Putting a dynamic in signature..

Featured Replies

How can I format this to go in my signature?

It's a dynamic signature, but I think the problem is that the picture isn't the right format for forums..

EDIT: I now realise you must have an account to see the page so I will take a screenshot.

That's HTML, signatures work on BBCode.

Did you still want the url? (As in when you click on it, it takes you to your profile) If you still want that:

img.aspx?txt=Let%27s%20go%20geocaching&uid=bbf01c34-028b-4b3a-8890-53cc96e6e728

Only thing I couldn't get on there was the alt text when you hover over the image so it reads "Profile for _____"

That is awesome, thank you. But I realized I didn't personalize the one part.. I feel like an idiot sorry ha. So if it's not too hard could you do it again for this: [hide=]6tczlk.jpg[/hide]

Rather than do the work for you I will explain what do to.

BBCode works the same way as html, basically it will allow you to configure the forum to look like the way you want it to (or a small part at least). Basically you want the image, when clicked on, to link to that site, correct? Well... you build it the same was an html, although I'm a little unsure now exactly what you want....The first image appears to be exactly the same as the second you posted.

EDIT: Oh ok I see :P

The only thing you changed was the "Let's go geocaching" part right?

[url=www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=bbf01c34-028b-4b3a-8890-53cc96e6e728][img=http://img.geocaching.com/stats/img.aspx?txt=geocaching.com&uid=bbf01c34-028b-4b3a-8890-53cc96e6e728][/url]

Let me tell you how I did it (if you want to know):

[hide=]In the code you gave me,

was the url part. So instead of having

The image part in the original code was:

I substituted img src with

[img=and]

To make the image send you to the link when you click it, you have

[url=*link*][img=*image%20link*][/url]

If you want the image by itself without making it go to link when you click it, just have

[img=*image link*]

[/hide]

By the way, you can change the text part that says "Let's go geocaching" or "geocaching.com" to anything you like by going back to the code and locating this part:

[img=http://img.geocaching.com/stats/img.aspx?txt=geocaching.com&uid=bbf01c34-028b-4b3a-8890-53cc96e6e728]

Do you see the 'txt=geocaching.com' part? (after img.aspx?)

Replace geocaching.com with any message you want written in it.

If anything I said confused you and you want to know how to do it, just PM me.
