"eRepublik is a massively multiplayer online (MMO), social networking and strategy web browser game. The game allows players to participate as individual citizens in an online mirror of the real world. It was developed by Alexis Bonte and George Lemnaru.

 

eRepublik combines both Social Networking and Strategy into a single online game where players can participate in a variety of activities. Citizens of the eRepublik world can own businesses, form political parties, vote in elections, write newspaper articles, and even go to war as citizens of virtual versions of real life countries.

 

 

 

Upon joining, a citizen picks which virtual country he wishes to join. Each of these countries is named after an actual country in the real world, and is located similarly. The citizen then seeks employment at a company within that country, and is allowed the opportunity to train as a soldier for that country. Training, and working at a company is done on a daily basis. One of the main drawing points of the website is that it takes a mere "14 minutes a day" to participate.

Anyway, it's a pretty interesting game, plus it seems to only take a little time each day.

Yeah I remember playing this a while back, when all the people in America were from GameFAQs, and all the people in India were from /v/.

 

 

 

Joined just after this big war between Canada and the US, where Canada trounced them, but the prime minister of Canada was away, then came back and saw that his country was at war with the US and so agreed to peace with them.

 

Oh well, I think we got to keep Alaska hehe.

Joined a couple months ago, and am getting annoyed at the new income tax rate of 30% in eAmerica, while my government is telling me to spend my money on weapons. I bet this is all a PEACE trick and the war isn't even gonna happen -.-

Have plaing this game,now there is Eworld war 3 going on beteen us and canada(exAtlantis now EDEN) and hungary,france ,UK (Peace) .Many nations are involvd in war and best thing is citizenship is cooming out yay.
