THANK YOU GANDORF61!!!

Basically all my member stats are 1

92 combat

72 fishing

70 cooking

67 mining

80 woodcutting

55 runecrafting

52 crafting

How should I make money?

EDIT - Where can I start slayer?

I'd recomend training agility to 70 before you do anything, since it makes scaping so much easier.

As for money, I'd recomend spawn collecting, like seaweed, snapegrass, or blue dragonscales. I'm sure there are guides for all of those in the archive of wisdom, just use the search.

How should I make money?

This question is asked many, many times. The answer is whatever you like to do.

You're fishing is a good level, maybe fish in the Fishing Guild, if you like to fish.

Woodcutting isn't bad either, you'll notice there are many more woodcutting spots, and some of the popular F2P spots are less crowded.

Basically all my member stats are 1

This is where I would start. Complete "Wolf's Whistle" and "Druidic Ritual" to unlock several of these skills, and starting the others is wise:

Agility--Go to the Gnome Stronghold and you'll find the training area.

Construction--See any Real Estate Agent to buy your house! (I.E.; Varrock)

Hunter--Go to the Grand Exchange or a hunter shop, get some bird snares, and head out to a Jungle hunting area (Refer to the Hunting Guide for info), and catch some birds to get started.

EDIT - Where can I start slayer?

Try Burthorpe (Search on the world map if you need to find it). You'll learn all about slayer. [in actuality, I'm not certain if this is the starting point, since the skill was started when I was hacked]

All in all, familiarize yourself with the Member's World.

All of my friends (and me) didn't really figure out the P2P world on our first month, but I assure it is well worth it.

If you need help figuring out anything just ask.

To start slayer you could go to the slayer master in Edgeville dungeon, ask for an assignment, ask him for tips (check bestiary if uncertain) and buy a slayer gem (1 Gp).

First off, there's a few Quests you should do, please note that I typed that list up for a p2p player that's more experienced.

Starting off with Tears of Guthix would be very good, also do The Lost City, Druidic Ritual, Wolf's Whistle, Holy Grail, Plague City, Tree Gnome Village, you know the notice bunch... I'm sure there's plenty I left out.

[hide=Basic p2p Quests]

Animal Magnetism

Biohazard

Death Plateau

Druidic Ritual

Dwarf Cannon

Elemental Workshop (1+2)

Fairy Tale 1+2

Family Crest

The Fremennik Trials

Gertrude's Cat

Ghosts Ahoy

The Giant Dwarf

The Grand Tree

Heroes Quest

Holy Grail (lots of prayer xp)

Horror from the Deep

Legends Quest

The Lost City

The Lost Tribe

Lunar Diplomacy

Monkey Madness

Nature Spirit (required for fairy tale Quests)

One Small Favour (annoying but worth it, lots of free xp)

Plague City

Priest in Peril

Shilo Village

Smoking Kills

Swan Song

Tears of Guthix

Tree Gnome Village

Troll Stronghold

Underground Pass (now that's the only Quest I hated along with Regicide). -> Regicide.

Wolf Whistle

If you're a combat lover that does not like lenghty and complicated Quests, you'll like A Soul's Bane and Fight Arena, simple and lovely (I loved both).

I suggest you get your member's stats up first, although low levels aren't too good for cash, some will prove quite rewarding.

Farming, Runecrafting, Thieving and Hunter for instance aren't bad for money.

Upper level fletching gets you fair amounts of cash, so does upper level crafting if you do it right.

Minigames like Barrows and Godwars are good too (but you're not ready for that yet!).

For lower leveled people, fairly okay and quick cash is mining pure essence (rune essence in p2p). Other than that, killing green dragons for dragonhide isn't too bad (though dangerous). Cutting magic logs is fair, though can be slow. Runecrafting is amazing if you do it right, through the abbys making natures. Of course you're nowhere near using familiars that are of use, but abbys will have to do.. There's a miniQuest for that. Also, get pouches. You will require several glories. Heroes Quest highly recommended.

You could also go fishing/cooking in Catherby while you farm on the side -> Cooking Gauntlets recommended if you still burn (Family Crest Quest).

Of course there's also the nooby method of getting flax and making bowstrings, to sell those and level crafting up a bit, but I reckon you then might as well go mining and smelt bars (or smith them even). Another option is to mine/smelt gold using Goldsmith Gauntlets (Family Crest Quest). The best place to mine Gold are the Arzinian Mines, after the Between a Rock Quest. For that Ring of Charos (a) is highly recommended (Creature of Fenkenstrain Quest).

Basically my advice would be.. Go Questing and get your stats up first and explore the member's world a bit.

Money will flow in later. XD

Actually, as you won't be summoning just yet anyway you might as well also do Gertrude's Cat Quest and raise kittens while you're skilling. Just put in some random fish when the kitten is hungry and sell it for 100 death runes in West Ardougne (use cat on civilian). Keep in mind that kittens only grow when you have them following you (drop kitten). Also keep in mind that you can open your familiar/follower's menu by clicking the summoning icon near your minimap.

Actually I don't recall having to go to Burthorpe to start slayer, and I also told quite a few of my friends new to p2p to just go to Vannakka in Edgeville dungeon - that worked well. The Burthorpe master will give nooby assignments, Vannakka's differ. Mind you that if you have an assignment you do not wish to carry out, you can go to the Burthorpe slayer master for another assignment (without having the one you hate finished) and get a nooby assignment.

I personally most often go to the Zanaris slayer master (Lost City Quest). Slayer also is a fair way to make money doing combat, although the ways mentioned above might prove faster, slayer is good for variety, and a wonderful skill to train.

As I said, I wasn't in control of my account when the hacker leveled it some (Nooby hacker by the way, lol).

But to the OP, just get in the swing of things, try some of the basic quests that were listed, although you might want to wait until you're used to the expansive area to try a few quests (One Small Favour, for example), or just to familiarize yourself with items/potions for combat related quests. Building a good starting gold pile will go a long way.
