SportsGuy Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 I don't know if confirmation is necessary, because the crew should know about this. It looks more like a place where they missed updating. Confirmation is usually for something that was changed that hasn't been changed elsewhere, is something that is contrary to what they have everywhere else in the guide, or a hidden update to game play that affects all guides. In this case, I'm sure it helps point out something they missed. This is something that was specifically stated in a release by Jagex...that the strange fruits are not randoms and spawn near Brimhaven. They actually don't want people posting things that are given in updates. The original post wasn't saying that it's new, only that they missed updating it in the guide. So the original post was necessary, because the crew missed something...it wasn't something new or different that needed confirmation. But, do whatever...just trying to explain the difference. It's true we don't need confirmation on updates, which Jagex posted themselves. However, sometimes the update was so long ago, everybody has forgotten Jagex posted about it and confirmation is nice. I don't know which of those categories this one falls into, but those confirmations are definitely not hurting anyone. On a more positive note: it's been updated and KArthur90 has been credited. As I remembered the newspost myself, I didn't credit Wisse.
