swimandwinnin
Hi, so I've browsed online for quite a few Bandos gwd guides Soma's is sort of open to interpretation, and the pictures supplied at the end for Bandos are also sort of open ended I did read Ben's guide on here as well, didn't mention anything about void Anyways I'm a lvl 127, 99 str 94 atk 68 summon 90 def 99 range wanna do something fun, so I'm trying gwd out. I have an sgs, full void range and melee, various armours what would be the suggested equipment/inventory set up? oh I dont have a dfs anymore, sold it en route to my sgs last thing, should i invest in bandos boots? s1reatalot
What kind of armour do you have? Bandos boots are not worth it either, really bandos items aren't required, use bandos mace if you are really worried about being owned by bandos monsters. TomcatLX
Void does not get mentioned because it has horrible defensive stats against physical damage. It also has a poor accuracy rating compared to black dhide. The only point to void ranger is to use it in PvP where high hits>accuracy. Bandos does not heal it's own HP like a PvP player would so there is no point trying to use Void to KO him. Some players use void to train but that is the alternative to void ranger use. Bandos does a very high defense rating that would make you hit a lot of zeros against him. Using black d-hide or Armadyl is a better option when boss fighting. swimandwinnin
I have a variety of barrows armour, just nothing bandos. i figured itd be a hassle to be wielding the mace during kc, as thats an inventory spot that could be better spent on something else. and Tom, from what i've read, the tank absorbs all of graardor's melee damage, range prayer stops the shockwave attack, and void has decent mage def for the minion. Also, with a team shouldnt damage be at a minimal anyways? I was thinking void melee. Thanks for the replies though guys.
The_Fray
I have seen void meelee being used there so I guess its worth a try.
ladycai
I wouldn't solo with it. Anyway, this is what I used when I solo'd bandos. (Sorry, forgot to ss inventory :S) Helm: Neitiznot (Veracs is muuuch better, but also riskier) Amulet: Fury Armor: Verac's Brassard Legs: Verac's Plateskirt Boots: Dragon Boots Weapon: Bandos Godsword -- If you plan on using sgs, which is much better imo, be careful when getting your kills outside Bandos's room. Maybe you can pray range and attack goblins near Aviansies for fast kills? :x Here, prayer < food. Cape: Zamorak Cape (Mage Arena) Ring: Ring of Wealth Gloves: Barrows Gloves Inventory was 2 ppots, 1 sara brew, 1 sup attack, 1 sup strength, hammer, house teleport, and sharks. I also used a war tortoise, full sharks. I think I managed 2-3 kills each run like this, you should be able to do much more. I kept piety on ALWAYS while killing the Bandos Boss, and the prayer bonus on the setup I have helped me save a ppot or two while holding more food. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
swimandwinnin
Thanks for your response Ladycai I'm really not planning on solo'ing it atm, given how little experience i have in the matter. Also, would you say that bandos boots arent worth it? I just think its a hassle to have to run through, but with protect from mage, i suppose i wouldnt get hit too hard running in.
