I don't know about anyone else but i find it anoying to take your eyes off the screen to look at how much health you have left. I find it a distraction. Although they have updated the health bar, I have a few suggestions the would help.

 

 

 

For one, to help tell you that your heatlh is very low, have the health bar flash like the health icon by the map icon. That would atleast tell me i should eat food, run, or teleport away.

 

 

 

Second, have your Hp count above the health bar. Of course some people would think it gets in the way. But mabe they could add a option that allows you to turn it on and off?

 

 

 

Third, have you ever pulled out your Special Attack hopeing that it will finish your oppement off and then come to find he has just 3 hp higher than your highest hit? well how about adding an icon that shows your oppoments Hp? Yea we can see a health bar on all things we attack but why not add the Hp count i have described above to the thing your attacking?

 

 

 

All of these things could very much help distractions and help your keep an eye on your player! If you have any additional ideas to add to this please comment! Even if you don't, please comment on these ideas!

Er, no. It's all useless since most of that info is just a quick glance toward your right...

 

 

 

And the player hp idea would not work at all.

well thanks for those comments! I realy don't see how it would be "FLASHSCAPE" if i said it was an option. But i found that saying funny.

Yeah, the flashing of health bars... Would be hell for any epileptics who play the game.

Everything would be clunky and kind of distracting. You don't really need to look at the main screen unless you're doing something that needs prayer switching or something anyway.

What everyone else has said really, it'd be pointless and a complete waste of time and effort on Jagex's part. What's so difficult about just glancing at the hitpoints icon?
