lordkafei
Is the 85 prayer requirement hard or soft? Can I boost my prayer to 85 with the monestary altar or the ogre spa pools and then apply the elixir? I'm 83 and not feeling like buying a lot of bones tonight... lordkafei
OK my buy offer for elixir finally went through. I boosted to 85 at the monestary and I got the "you need a prayer level of 85 or higher to bless the shield" message... Just to remove all doubt, I went to the spa and boosted to 92. Still no dice. Ah well. gspbeetle
You have any friends that have the prayer level? Just trade those to him and let him combine it. Examine ChenGMT (level: 138)
Sindarin00
Do evil stews not raise the "base" prayer level.... I am not sure what color of spice though. Yellow Spice::: Use on a stew to make it spicy. After doing the subquest you can make spicy stew for yourself to get a random skill boost. Jagex states that yellow spice may affect Agility, Prayer, Slayer or Thieving. Keep in mind, that you may have to dose yourself quite a few times, and you may end up using a few super restores if it lowers your prayer level. It will raise or lower some of those stats randomly, and you can get up to a 6 level boost. gspbeetle
blessed ss sucks.... Not really, it is better than d sq and dont have -magic bonus. Plus 2mil for a shield better than d sq isnt a bad deal... sigil ss or dfs are just way too expensive for a shield. Great_one
Stew won't work if the special alters didn't. i might as the alter are technically only defined as a pp bonus while the stew works with the level

I think for the blessing you will need the bottom stat to be 85 which is impossible to gain. Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.
