But really, its not that big of a deal, its a title page. I have checked out books that were missing entire chapters and some books in my library don't even have covers.

Going with that logic, North Korea could nuke America then say "well, we didn't mean to, there was a technical error that set the bombs off, so it's not really our fault so you guys should just forgive us."

 

Because ripping an insignificant page out of a book and dropping a nuclear bomb on the USA are pretty similar :wall:

 

 

 

This. And it wasn't entirely his fault. That book was damaged from what I gathered, so it was very weak. If he didn't do it, its' likely the next owner will.
