If you kill a monster that is originally in the slayer cave or tower in a place that isn't in the slayer cave in tower can you still get mystic robe drops?

Yah I was second person on tip.it with it (The day I found it, I saw someone else with it, so I assumed they may have had it before me), unfortunately now there is like 30+ people with it.
