Smithing symbol above your head

Featured Replies

Hey people,

I got a question for the real oldtimers... In the long past you where able to see what type of bar a person was smithing because a symbol of rune, adamantite or any ore for that matter would appear. I am just curious as to why it was removed and when :P

Well if anyone knows I'll hear!

Wasn't it removed in Rsc->Rs2, just like the mining, drinking bubbles etc?

Im guessing they where removed because they where useless.

I can't imagine I been around since RSC :S

Was that towards my comment and weren't they replaced with actual animation?

Point is I don;t remember exactly any more

It was the rsc-rs2 transition, when an actual smithing animation was introduced.

You could have made it in 2004. That was the year of the transition, but just after the ears and the scythe.
