Spirits of the Elid - Minor note

Featured Replies

Just noticed that in the quest Spirits of the Elid under the item section.

It asks for a needle and a thread. The correction is that it requires 2 threads, one for each piece of robe.

As stated, a minor correction, however I had to go back to GE to get the thread from Nardah and back again so I was quite inconvenienced. Thanks TIP staff.

Edit: Get to keep robes upon completion of quest as well

whenever it says "thread" It could mean 1, or 100. NEVER bring only 1 spool of thread, always multiples

It specifically states "a" thread so I brought one, if it stated more than one, I would have brought more than one. Just cause you bring thousands of items doesnt mean the rest of us do.

Perhaps your thread ran out? Thread can usually be used over several pieces of leather, right? So, maybe it "ticked" over on you?

It's speculation of course...

Entirely possible, I've noticed this happening while crafting.

But, wouldn't it be best to suggest bringing a "few" threads rather than just "a" thread? It does stack, after all.

Worthy of an edit, in my opinion, if it saves someone a bit of grief.

I agree. Anywhere it mentions carrying one piece of thread, it might warrant a mention of carrying more, especially since it stacks...which only makes me wonder why someone wouldn't carry more if told to carry it at all...that's beside the point.

To avoid confusion and incidents like this happening again I added that you needed two reels of thread.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. :)
