Ice Trolls.

Not the usual question, but just a few.

 

 

 

1. Does the Fremmenik Round Shield give more protection to Ice Trolls than a granite shield or not?

 

 

 

2. Does the FRShield work outside of Neiti/Jatizso?

 

 

 

3. Are Rangers more dangerous than Melee trolls? (I am not safing them)

The shield works better in my opinion and how can you go wrong for the price!!haha!The shield does not work away from the ice trolls. If you are planning to protect from the ice trolls protect melee (usually when cannoning), the rangers do do a little more damage but not enough to be incredibly dangerous or to avoid them.

The shield, the same as yak hide armour, has seemingly low stats but knocks a heck of alot of troll max hits.

 

 

 

I believe they work against all ice trolls, though the off island trolls are so spread out and largely not in multi (to my recollection) whihc largely renders the need to lower their max hits useless making other normal gear better.

 

 

 

Damage wise the rangers do hit more than the meleers, but on the islands atleast the ratio is something like 3 melee:1 ranger so when you're getting piled the meleers damage is more important to block.

Roundshield. You'll stop more damage by lowering their max than by raising your defence.
