Attack 70 Defense 65 HP 69 Magic 67 Prayer 57 Ranged 66 Do you think I can do it? :ohnoes: If so, what would you recommend as the best method based on my stats. I can't yet wear any Barrows Armour, so that's out right from the start. I can, however, wield a slayer staff for mage if that is a help at all. I've read Tip.It's Mithril Dragon guide so I know the basics; antifire and prayer potions, antifire shield, good food, stat boosting pots, etc. Any help with the "can" and "how best" is greatly appreciated. Lunar_Drifter Posted August 5, 2009 Share Posted August 5, 2009 Wear Mystic, pray range and Mystic Might, and stay out of melee range. This way only its mage attack will hit you. Bring sharks, one antifire pot, a one click teleport, and two prayer potions. Thank you! :D By the way, when you say to stay out of melee range, does that mean you get pulled into it by the dragon or can I just stay a couple of squares away without having to run back after every hit? Bronze/Iron/Steel dragons just keep breathing fire without bothering to come into melee range if you're too far away, so I assume it's probably the same for miths. Lunar_Drifter Posted August 5, 2009 Share Posted August 5, 2009 I'll assume that they're just lazy.. If you stand outside of melee range- that is, with at least 1 square distance between you and the dragon- then you don't have to worry about it's melee attack ripping through your mystic gear. That way, you know that it will only use dragon breath, magic attacks, and range attacks. Since you're weaker towards range attack with what you're wearing, pray range. Mystic Might isn't usually a good use of prayer points, but in this case it is since you're only killing one. Basically, as long as you're one square away, the dragon won't move towards you but will resort to mage/range. Retired Tip.It Mod || Admin and Founder of Caesar 3 Mod Squad! All are welcome! Just take a couple of prayer potions, an antifire potion, a one-click teleport, runes, and the rest food. Pray range and rely on your robes for magic defense. The magic has a max hit of 18.
