i've been trying to find a reliable free hypercam or a program that i can make vids and stuff and i came across jing project and it look pretty good. I was just wondering if it is safe and if i download it it won't put viruses on my computer. Does anyone have this that can tell me if it is safe? and if it's not do you know any others that are safe and free that i can download?

I don't have a Mac or ever used one, so I don't know about any screen recording programs for them.

 

 

 

Jing is safe to use and has no viruses (If you download it from TechSmith, if you get a Torrent or something you can never guarantee it to be virus free).

 

Although Jing is designed more towards the simple two minute video showing someone you're helping how to do something, and things of that nature, not really to use as a screen recorder for a high quality video.

Moved to Tech and Computers as I think you'll get a better response there.

 

 

 

Camstudio is an ok program that you might want to check out.
