August 13, 200916 yr OK so I really need to get this quest done for the Slayer rewards, but the boss battle scares me. I am afraid of having to pray range and die from the hard-hitting magic attacks of the crazy [wagon] banshee thing. So I plan on going in with a super set, prayer pot and sharks, but I need to know if I should use my melee set up or range setup. My levels are: Attack: 75, Strength: 79, Defence: 75, HP: 77, Prayer: 52, Ranged: 57, Summoning: 31 How should I approach this boss battle? Am I over-thinking this and I would be fine meleeing? or would the magic attacks hit me too hard? EDIT: Forgot to add my setups, Melee: Helm of Neitiznot, Torags Body, Torags Legs, Dragon boots, Abby Whip, Rune Defender Ranged: Blue D'Hide set
August 13, 200916 yr Well I can't remeber my strategy to well but I believe the tip.it quest guide gives some good adive. August 13, 200916 yr It's not too bad. Personally i used d'hide, but you only have access to blue so i'm not sure(i had black) I would still use it though for when you have to protect range and the mage starts to hit.
August 14, 200916 yr Use your D'hide, and use Pray from Ranging, because there is more enemies ranging than maging. Also, your d'hide has a good Magic defence bonus, so just go in there, pray from range, melee the boss with d'hide on. hope this helps.
August 15, 200916 yr Get three range levels for red d'hide. That is all. Balance may be power, but chaos is still pretty damn fun.Canada can't be second rate, polar bears are their main mode of transportation.
