nerdboyxxx
Account sharing? :? My friend account shares with my other friend. I don't see how it is bad but rules are there for a reason I suppose :P
SprBean
Buying or Selling an Account. you can report somebody there. maybe, you might think that it's not right, but the website also included account sharing in buying and selling, thus you can report people under that topic. Need any help? or are you just wanting to chat for a bit? join our Social Club (cc: Judobreaker).
Kaida23
Like SprBean said, it under "buying, selling or sharing an account" Check the rules page here. Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero. THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P. So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...
Duke_Kaleb
If the person is advertising that he/she is account sharing (in public chat) or encouraging others to do so - feel free to report them for "Encouraging Rule-Breaking" located in the Honour category. However, account sharing is now auto-detected by Jagex so there is no real need to report them unless they are seriously advertising and encouraging others to do so. Sooner or later Jagex will find out and take the appropriate action.
Alex_Ewan_1
Its just that someone on my friends list pmed me to say he shares his account with two other people and that they will be on whilst he is away on holiday. I thought I had better do something about a blatant disregard of the rules. Goals achieved: lvl 99 Cooking, Fishing and Fletching.Surrey CC and Liverpool FC fan for life! Duke_Kaleb
Its just that someone on my friends list pmed me to say he shares his account with two other people and that they will be on whilst he is away on holiday. I thought I had better do something about a blatant disregard of the rules. To be honest - if I were in your place, I would simply ignore his comments. As I said above, Jagex can now detect Account Sharing, so there is nothing more to worry about. I recommend trying to convince him to stop sharing his account. Account security should be his utmost concern, and he jeopardizes that by allowing others to play on his account.
Alex_Ewan_1
Great. Didn't know jagex has a system that automatically bans account sharers. I will leave the matter be and not report it.
