Hello people of tip.it,

I played runescape for a couple of years.

No, actually, I played runescape for a year and stopped for 12-20 months.

But now, I started again.

Since the moment when I began again, I wanted to become a member (again :) )

But now after a few weeks I think, hey I want to become a member, but what to do when I am? :P

That's why I need you for.

Below I give you the quests I've done, my items and of course; my stats.

[*:cieykwk6]What armour or other items I should get.

[*:cieykwk6]How to get the money for the above.

    [*:cieykwk6]How to have fun

The first thing people are going to tell you is train slayer.

That's very much true, its a great way to train combat!

But other than that, good moneymakers at your current (close future) levels include:

chopping yews

farming ranarrs +toadflax (32 farm for ranarrs) should take several oak + apple trees (27) max.

hunting green drags (might want to get 60s in A/S/D before you try)

Also, get 43 prayer, 38 is just in the middle of nowhere.

Ok, thanks!

I think I will train slayer then!

And what armour do you suggest, should I stick with rune?

Or maybe upgrade to granite?

And what weapon?

Or maybe I should use magic or ranged instead of melee?

And yes, I need to get 43 prayer ASAP...

Thanks!

Granite? nah, everybody has granite and it looks noobish :P

Good old rune will do just fine.

As for weapon, get 60atk ASAP, and do monkey madness, because i see you already did lost city.

Range is a decent alternative to training slayer at lower levels, and it is very useful at higher levels. But magic isn't all that useful for slaying, I recommend you get 55 so you can high alch good drops from slayer monsters.

Work through all the quests you can and you should get some nice exp as well as better trade limit.

Definately train your stats as they are pretty low and shoudln't take too long to get to a decent levels. (60+'s)

Farm toadflax and limpwurts... with 4 plots (ardougne, camelot, falador, and he one north of haunted woods in canifis), you can make 70-100k a run (which takes about 10 minutes).. you might want to raise your magic so you can ardy teleport (I think a quest might be required as well for it.. but can't remember).. and do Fairy Rings I and start Fairy Rings II to get access to the fairy rings.. makes travelling a lot easier and would get you to the haunted woods patch quickly).

For prayer, go to the House Party world. Kill ogres west of yanille.. pick up big bones.. walk over to the house portal just inside Yanille (on west side).. find an altar (usually there are people advertising the use of their guilded altars, or just simply ask and you'll get an answer). Go into house and use the person's guilded altar, and repeat. Shouldn't take you long at all to get to 43 prayer.

At lvl 29 hunter I believe it is, you can catch swamp lizards. FAST xp and pretty good cash for a lower lvl... they go for about 900-1000 each right now I believe. If you need money, that's also a good method.

Definitely train your attack to 60 (dragon items), and then 70 (abyssal whip). The BEST training spot for you in the game is no doubt - experiments, lvl 25 combat with 100 hp.. it's practically cheating. You need to do the creature of fenkenstein quest to access them which is pretty quick and easy from what I remember.

Use sacred clay armour. It has the defensive properties of runite and only weighs 2kg a piece. You will also get the bonus experience at the start (don't bother recharging it though). Stay away from Granite as it is basically runite/sc armour with a larger price tag and more weight.

I can't see your stats due to the filter on this computer, but use a dragon scimitar until you can use an abyssal whip, then just stick with that. Training ranged is also quite viable, but you might want a strong melee base first off. Magic is really useful for teleports, but not a whole lot passed that.

DeltaER's reply was a bit hit and miss.

Farming

Always plant marigold and for herbs do: Tarromin->Harralander->Ranarr only switch from ranarr if you after exp over money. At the moment ranarr pretty much beats snapdragon when you take into account deaths.

Prayer

Either, Kill hill giants in the dungeon near varrock and bank the bones or use the money gained from hunting.

Sell the big bones and buy dragon bones. Its slightly more expensive, but will save a lot of time.

Then use a house party running from the bank to the portal and back.

This will work out better exp and faster (lower level monsters, banking and better bones).

By fairy rings I and fairy rings II he means Fairy Tale Part I and Fairy Tale Part II

The rest is pretty much bang on.

Oh, are you a pure in training? I read something else in another Help & Advice topic which I replied to. I just wanted to advise you to gain prayer experience from quests rather than burying bones (if you are a pure). It just prevents being caught in teh future, needing a quest that you can't complete because it will ruin your prayer goal.

If not, stick with the advice listed above.
