Range Question.

With my range level what is the best armour/weapon to use, and don't say Armadyl because I don't want to spend that much.

Yaks with Bronze knifes? He they're good at most levels even using rune knifes. Use void though...

 

 

 

If not, anything to be honest... I mean, its common sense. You dont want to kill avansies and you probably cant afford chins, so go old school and kill something like Fire Giants.

If you have Void, it's good for lower defense monsters that you would train on (like Fire Giants and Yaks), along with a Zammy book, Ranging Ammy or Fury, and snakeskin boots.. The best training weapon is bronze knives.

 

 

 

For higher monsters, an Archer Helm, Zammy Book, Ranging Ammy or Fury, Black D'hide body and chaps, Barrows gloves, and snakeskin boots would work fine. A rune crossbow and broad bolts is a great, cheap combination that hits well.

Oooo, sorry. Mis-read Arma for Ava... Hm, use black d'hide or karils with Ranger ammy, zamorak book, rune c'bow and broad bolts are probably your best bet. Get avis accumulator and snake skin boots?

Never use Karil's for ranging; it's really only good for mage defense. Also, I was pretty sure than an Accumulator was a given.

Guthix will work just as good. Not really a great deal of shield weapons that aid range.

 

I've heard Ranging Amulet is pretty poor compared to its price, but that was at 3m. Now its crashed, probably worth buying one and using it, then selling it when it imminently rises again.

Well then sell it before it drops. Just keep fury then if you dont want to take the risk. Be useful for the tasks you cant safe.

I'm not positive, but I think it hit it's minimum price range today, as it stayed exactly the same as yesterday. Either way, try to buy it for min. It's a worthy investment.

Black dhide body/variant

 

Torag/Dh legs

 

Dragon boots

 

Rune kite

 

Rune cbow

 

Broad bolts

 

Best RFD gloves (Addy + or black [bleep]ey vambs)

 

Accumulator

 

 

 

Replace anything there with certain slayer-needed items.

 

Tanking is much more fun than normal range imo >.>
