1zacman1
I have several pets that I would like to grow up and become adults that require the summoning skill to have. What I want to know is if the pet's growth is affected by the experience you gain in game, or if it's just a matter of keeping the pet out for a long time and feeding it when it's hungry. I'm enjoying most of my life, why should I get a new one? -Anonymous
intervention
I don't think the amount of experience you get affects it, I would say just keep it out for as long as it takes.

Mercifull
Summoning level makes no difference to the growth or hunger rate of pets. Gin_and_Tonic
If you look on thr Tip.It Fansite, theres an official Jagex statement saying that time is the only factor effecting growth. Feeding/entertaining your pet just stops it from running away.
