Michaael
[hide=]Afk training is becoming a massive problem, and after having a disucssion in game with some players, many think that it is ok, since you don't stop them from doing it. My questions is, will you try to put a stop to AFK training. They stated flatly that AFK training is against the rules. And the question appears to me to be asking for affirmation/confirmation of the rules, not elaboration on future plans for preventing/punishing breaches. Hardly avoiding the issue. Again, more an issue with the question, not the answer. If you want clarification, why don't you ask about it again in the live Q&A? To me, it sounds like his question is: will you try to put a stop to AFK training? It appears that he is not directly asking for a affirmation/confirmation of the rules, but simply if they will be putting a stop to it, (his calling it a "problem" would hint at him knowing it was most likely against the rules). I don't need clarification because I don't really care. If people want to make this a rampant problem, it will only make the process for fixing it faster. So in short, he didn't answer the question ;) Coming after "many think that it is ok, since you don't stop them from doing it," I'm sure you can see how it could be interpreted as a request for clarification, regardless of the original intent.[/hide] No, I don't. He never asks for clarification. It's a statement, "many players think it's ok since you don't stop them from doing it". This is a true statement, but he follows up his background chat with his actual question, which is a yes or no question, that wasn't answered and that's the problem I had when I first posted on the topic. They answered his question with a statement that somewhat relates to the topic of AFK training, but not the actual question 5,693rd to 99 Slayer on 10/08/2009
Tim
This made me sick: The second of the RuneScape Q&As has been published, this time dealing with questions put to the Player Support team. The answers can be read either on this forum thread or in this Developers Blog. We shall also be running a live Q&A session on the forums tonight, from 8-10pm (official forum time). So, if you have any questions you think the Player Support team might be able to answer, head over to this forum thread at 8pm to find out how. Mod Murray Head of Player Support oh, and what about us players who were banned from the RSOF with NO evidence or appeals and DIDNT break the rules? Honestly, I cant think of any other player in Runescape who's been banned from RSOF under my conditions, and the thing is I've had friends post my name in those "Appeal" threads they had for a few months. Still nothing. Pull your thumbs out of your mouth Jagex. Aside that rant, I "suppose" Its good for the non-banned. Popoto.~<
