I'm having a hard time coming up with a house thats useful but how I want it. I want my house to be completely enclosed (so people can't wander off) with basically the two portal rooms, costume room, menagerie, quest hall, study and workshop. Is there any way to pull this off while keeping it enclosed?

I used this planner and liked it very much. And I think you should be able to accomplish what you want. But, don't you want a chapel?

This house design includes a chapel, two portal rooms, two bedrooms, quest hall, costume room, work shop, and menagerie (replace the formal garden with the menagerie, as they haven't updated the app yet). I had to throw in the extra portal room because the right corner had an extra door leading out.

He was looking for a closed design. I'm assuming he doesn't want his butler roaming out of the house while in construction mode, or doesn't want players roaming out of the house when invited in.
