gspbeetle
Summary: This is a small guide to show you how to perform stunning with mouse key and f4 key right outside of stealing creation. Warning: This guide contains splash training and safe spots. Advantages: Right next to the recharge spot Disadvantages: Muti-combat (unless your are doing bears) Black unicorn might chase random player if they come too close and random players can kill your unicorn. Get attacked by lv21/27 monsters (unless you are doing unicorns) Revs might come, but rarely. (they wont attack if you are in the mystic camp) Safe spots(circled): Procedure: Drag a black unicorn from their forest of dead trees. Pic above is a possible safe spot. I dont recommand this spot as there is a high chance that the unicorn might get distracted from random people passing by. Stay close to the fence and make sure the unicorn follow you without getting stuck. Switch run on and go through the torch, if success the unicorn should get stuck there. Adjust your browser's size and position, minimise and restore your browser window until the stun icon is exactly on top of the unicorn. (Remember your spell book should be combat first) Now, spam click and f4 to begin your training! Alternatively you can cast them at bears right next to unicorns (single combat zone), however you will constantly get attacked untill npcs have build up tolerance. Note: You may get attacked by revs if you stay outside of the mystic camp! Gear: You should aim to get -60 or below magic bonus, below is an affordable sample gear. A full set of sacred clay amour without weapon is highly recommand. helm: Sacred clay helm (melee) -> any metal full helm body: Sacred clay helm (melee) -> any metal platebody legs: Sacred clay helm (melee) -> any metal platelegs weapon: mystic mud staff -> earth staff -> water staff -> Sacred clay staff (remember, the reason to use sacred clay is to cut cost not time saving!) shield: any metal kite shields -> any metal square shields hand: any hide vambrace -> forinthry bracelet (if you have problems with an occasional rev) boots: snakeskin boots/ranger boots -> any metal boots ring: ring of life Some extras: Dont do this in world 114 or world 159, or you will most likely be screwed. Scared clay stun is NOT 200k exp per hour, instead you get 120k exp for 40min then play three 20min games to recharge it. It is in fact 72k per hour, however you can get more if you are using a non-combat sc clan (21-23 points) or you can click fast. If you really hate clicking, you can utilise this safe spot and cast wind strike! Sc wind strike with air staff is only 1gp/exp and it's 14k exp per hour including the 1 hour recharging! You only have to recharge every 7.5 hours of casting. If your defence is high enough, you can even afk wind strike black unicorns. Remember these are not spiders under lumbridge basement, they can take up to 10hp from me in an hour with 99 defence. Faq: Q: I just recharge my amour but it doesnt give double exp and the message "your sacred clay amour have less than 100% charge" doesnt appear as well! Relogging wont help either! A: This is a pretty common SC bug after recharging. Try to remove a piece of amour, count-charges, wear it again. Q: Is it time efficient/time wasting to do SC stun or wind strike? A: Stun is -28% efficient and wind strike is 42% efficient. SC only decrease time needed for low exp spells, but it still give 50% cost reduction to all spells. Q: I heard SC amour only give 20k exp a piece and the whole set only give 60k exp... A: I guess it degrade only when you gain the original 20k exp + the bonus 20k exp. I can always blow over 12000 mind runes (11exp each rune for sc wind strike) with whole set and still have some charges left afterwards. Q: Why dont you just buy SC hats? Its cheaper than body and legs, plus you dont have to return for recharges! A: Let's say the bonus exp for the whole set is roughly equal to 3 hats and you are bringing 28 hats for each run (wearing1+27 in inventory). Hence, 28 hats is around 9 sets of amour +1 extra piece. starting cost for 28hats method: 24*28 = 672 starting cost for a set of sc amour 30+28+24 = 82 running cost for 8 recharges of full set = 60*8 = 480 cost of sc amour set with bonus exp equal to 28 hats: 82+480+20= 582 So, thats 90 points more or you have to save at least 90min of recharging time to worth the cost. Lets say you need 2 min to get to the mystic camp (games) and 1 min to get back into the dummy house (remember tele mystic "teleports" you to lumbridge!). 28 hats do 1 recharges each run which equals to 9 recharge runs for whole set counterpart. You have to do 3.75 times of 28 hats to balance out the cost! Conclusion - That means unless you are going to sc more than 4.2mil exp for magic, dont bother doing the 28 hats method. (btw, I never did the 28 hats method, its pure calculation, but someone told me this is "clever" for having little recharge runs.) Q: But... I am doing less than 28 hats! A: Rule of thumb: each hat = 4 more points than recharging, 5 hats = 20 more points = 1 more game of sc = 20min wasted... X Battousai
Or you can splash stun inf Fog :-w I assume the xp in Fog is equal to the xp not in Fog, except you can just use the sc helms, rune legs/plate and kite, and just beg your target to let you stun em for like 300 casts? Sure, You're rating is gonna get screwed, but that's the price you pay for xp

nubbycubby
Why would you splash stun -- especially in multi? Why not just cast on Lumbridge dummies... ☭
LatinII
Why would you splash stun -- especially in multi? Why not just cast on Lumbridge dummies... Exactly lol. You can keep casting the spell on the dummies in Lumby even if it didn't splash.
gspbeetle
Why would you splash stun -- especially in multi? Why not just cast on Lumbridge dummies... But then you have to run back to the camp every 40 min to recharge it. i.e: less exp per hour! Keeping mutiple sets is just wasting points and time. Despite it is multi, there are rarely anyone will go there, unless you are doing that in world 114 or 159. Examine ChenGMT (level: 138)

I assume not, since you can get 1m runes easily there, and just burst it, but do oyu get normal melee xp in any minigame? but yeah....

True, but you are spending 4 extra points for every hat and an extra 20min games for every 5 hat you have. So you don't get normal mage xp there? thanks for the heads up. You dont get exp in SC This is because both people were getting massive amounts of xp from burst/barrage without using any runes other than ones they made in less than 5 mins, and because people abused the telegrab spell for xp.
