37-60 Magic

Im currently 37 magic and I want 60 for god cape and to do Family Crest..

 

 

 

Can someone post up the quickest way and price and a slower way and price please?

Cheap way:

 

 

 

1. Buy staff of fire (or if you can afford it, a fire battlestaff).

 

2. Buy mind and air runes.

 

3. Do fire strike until goal level.

 

 

 

No cost way:

 

1. Mine rune essence (or pure essence). If you mine pure essence, sell that and get rune essence (max price?) to save some money/time.

 

2. Make/craft air and mind runes.

 

3. Do fire strike until goal level.

 

 

 

You can also do fire strike until level 43 and then switch to superheating bars, although you'll have to check the ore/bar and nature rune prices to check if that's profitable (maybe steel?).

To be honest, he'd be better just mining the essence and selling it to buy chaos runes and train even faster if he was going to do it this way.

 

 

 

I would personally Fire Strike Zombies in Varrock sewer over the gap. Or, if you have the money, crumble undead them.

True, although if raising runecrafting isn't a priority (you could also make chaos if needed), you might as well mine pure essence and sell it, then buy the runes, whether they be mind or chaos. Mind would be the cheaper, but longer way.

My little bro did it via fire striking rock crabs in the CT.

 

They drop 3 charms per time (mostly gold) and have lots of hp.

 

I think he made a small amount from the drops as well as a nice stack of charms.

 

He just took some food and used the safespot only moving away to activate more, get the drop or chase the odd retreating one.
