October 5, 200520 yr Here is an offer i found around 2 weeks ago: AMD athlon 64 Processor 3500+ Computer with ATI RADEON Xpress 200 Graphics (256mb), 17" CRT Flat-screen Monitor and Color Printer. Specs: Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 software 1024 DDR RAM memory 250gb drive Double-layer multiformat LightScribe DVDRW drive burns silkscreen quiality labvels directly to CDs and DVDs 9 in 1 Media Reader Price: $599.97 Location: Best Buy Now, I went to look at this computer but i wasnt prepared to buy it so I left but i did like it. On sunday I realized that this offer ended at Bestbuy and the price went up to $919.97 or somewherea around there. After that i went to circuit city to look at this model and they had it for $630 but then with added stuff like a monitor, anti-virus software and some other crap for $670 or $680. This is where the problem comes in. Im not sure what to do because the rebate from Best Buy will have to come back sooner or later cause Best Buy loves to make money so I could wait until the price goes back down to $599 but that could take a while and im kinda sick of waiting. Or, i could get teh computer from Circuit City for $670 or $680 right now (But this 1 doesnt come with a printer). Or I could just wait for a better deal altogether (which might take a relly long time). Or, I could get an Intel...what do u think??
October 6, 200520 yr Really thats not a bad offer. Ram seems ok, Cpu is more than decent, HD seems great. Overall it seems pretty good. But I would say that PC is geared more to people who want to use it as there entertainment center.
October 6, 200520 yr its not a bad price is it US dollars im assuming? i saw something similar ill have a look around for you thou y is every1 so negativally geared towards Intell since they will own eventually with all this stuff about companies not supporting AMD Aussie Aussie Aussie, :D
October 6, 200520 yr I think its a bandwagon thing. You know.. "Hate microsoft and intel" Its pathetic. Intel processors ARE good despite what these AMD fanboys say.
