hi, i haven't played in a while so i need some opinions on what i should do now? which skill should be my high priority??

 

my character is in the signature..my woodcutting is 61

The most profitable skill in f2p is TECHNICALLY mining at 85. However, for many people that simply isn't practical. While mining gold can still net you over 100k per hour, level 50 runecrafting grants you access to the RC Guild. The minigame, Great Orb Project, is 150k per hour if you play on a 50/50 world or are with a 50/50 clan. However, you must buy the fire talismans and sell them on the GE. Water talismans also work. They aren't worth as much, but they sell a ton easier.

 

 

 

Woodcutting and fishing come nowhere close to mining and RC.

 

 

 

For me, high priority has always been "most useful". So in f2p, that's either combat or a money-maker. If you're after combat, that's easy, just go to the SoS and train (look in my sig for my AoW guide that will lead you from there). If you're after money, train mining or RC, RC being more practical.

 

 

 

However, the greatest priority is "fun". So when you are leveling up, if something fun suddenly comes to mind, by all means go do it! If you have a sudden urge to play FoG, drop RCing for a little bit and go for it :

Get RC to 50, then play GOP.

 

If you are getting members any time soon, save the tokens and buy pure ess when you're a member.

Basically you play the minigame with a 50/50 world or on a 50/50 clan. I'm sure if you googled it or searched on RSOF, you'd find plenty of explanations.

 

 

 

RC is tough to level in f2p. You may decide the effort is not worth it if your level is around 20, but I would stick to it. Fastest method (without tabs or tiaras) is to RC earth runes while teleporting to varrock.

For about a week fire talis were merched, so they were better, but eventually they will drop back to their baseline, and water talismans will once again be the talisman to get. Well atm water is better(4.1k vs 3.3k).

To get to runecrafting 50 you need 41,534 xp. The fastest xp profitable way would be earth runes.

 

 

 

1. Mine 6390 rune essence.

 

2. Use earth tiara and craft the runes.

 

3. Sell the runes in the Grand Exchange.

 

 

 

You can also buy the essence but that'll cut the profit.
