Deathmath
Woohoo, almost have 70 slay/slayer rings. Just got a duradel task, and I got assigned... waterfiends (145 of em :P) I don't want to spend a bunch on equipment... borrowing is ok with me. I have 70 attack 70 str 82 def 79 ranged 60 pray. I don't have karils or a zammy spear. (best crush weapon is verac's flail) I've read guides, but am not sure what to do in my situation. Thanks, Deathmath Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
ChrisxImtx
So you're wanting... a good outfit for them?
Kimberly
Personally I would recommend skipping at your level if you can't at least summon a bunyip. A verac flail is a fine crush weapon, but if you can, borrowing a zam spear wouldn't hurt either. Or a saradomin sword.
Deathmath
So you're wanting... a good outfit for them? Yeah, a cheap outfit. Also i've heard about ppl ranging them, if anybody knows about that... Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
ChrisxImtx
Well basically anything giving a good mage defence and pray bonus I'm guessing. You're supposed to pray range so I'm guessing dragonhide would work fine with a trimmed SC and dragon boots. Sorry I'm not much help here, I've never been to them so that's probably the best you'll get from me.

notasoupbowl
You need some food and a prayer potion for the aggresive period. Once it wears off, trap them across the rock. Their range is only 4 so anything with a higher range will do. (Magic shortbow, Rune C'bow, etc.) Definitely bring range potions, as they have pretty high defense. Am writing a guide including these for my clan anyways ^.^
Kimberly
Does that still work since they updated monster AI to avoid most safespots?
notasoupbowl
I assume so - it's mainly giants half stuck on things that are affected I think. But I haven't been there for a couple days, sorry. So probably, but not for sure.
