At 66 fishing you can of course enter the guild and i was curious as to how many lobsters i'd be looking at an hour at this level? Well between 66-70 really.

 

I know you can pie to get in, but i dont see any point as the other 5 levels of flying fishing will greatly help my catch rate.

I only want to know as Uni starts soon and im looking for ways to make a little bit of money while i have to do my work :P

I can't speak for 66, but I can tell you that lobsters are pretty slow cash even at 99 fishing, and I certainly wouldn't recommend them as a moneymaker. I mean, of course you can give them a shot if you like, but don't expect much.

 

 

 

Besides, at your level you could be catching monkfish and getting better money anyway. My advice is to do Swan Song and do that instead.

Even tho they are not that fast/good money, it doesnt take too long for 76 where u get sharks which is great for high amount of afk/~~ok cash

I would by far prefer lobster fishng to fly fishing. Sharks are too slow, and I can say at 82 fishing with a granite lobster, monkfish are still slow catches. The extra xp isn't worth the time. I can't say exactly ow many you can catch per hour, but I can say that you're looking at a good route of experience and gold :thumbup:

In order for lobsters to equal monkfish in speed and profit you would need to catch 4 lobsters for every 3 monkfish. This is not observed. In my testing, I catch closer to 12 lobsters for every 11 monkfish. The difference is quite significant and makes it well worth completing the quest.
