Godslayer
You seriously need to learn how to shade differantly. I'll tell you a secret: Not everything has the same texture as a grainy rock. Astounding, no? Also, I've yet to see you demonstrate that you can succesfuly manipulate form, so far all I'm seeing is obese armoured blobs. Yea, so work on that and your golden I guess. How2PK
Why do you ask us? Sjeez, quit attentionseeking, finish your sigs and then we'll say if we think you're good or not. You just want to hear "oh, yea man, continue, I love your sigs" and that kind of fake blabla. If you like doing it you continue, if you don't like it you quit. Easy as that. It is called having a unique style. It is what creative people tend to do. Conforming to specific rules that tutorials do is all well and good for new comers, but its more important to create your own style Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

It really works the same way. If he could avoid bursting into tears when he reads it, I'm sure he could glean info on what he's doing wrong from it. Pointing him in the right direction you say? What paw claw said was partialy true (and partialy incorrect). I'm not going to go crusading around telling people what to do, thats their stylistic descision. What I find I can do however, is point out whats wrong and let the artist try and remedy that. The part pawclaw said wrongly is that you shouldn't be able to crit someone because everyone has a differant style. I'm not going to even point out whats wrong there. Just to make sure you know Smellysocks, I have nothing against you.

I'm not going to even point out whats wrong there. I didn't say tht. I just said that you can't pick on points that related to somones personall style eg his 'rock' shading is part of his style and is how you spot one of his sigs Like no doubt mine (if i made more) would be rcongnised for thier overly vivid backgrounds and suns (that is just a guess not really based on anything, but from what i seen mine do have vivid bgs compared to the majority) Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Quer_Skulll
..might if i interfeer into this discussion, GS appears to be handling it quite well but i'd like to some stuff Nacho- its one of the few "smart ways" to giving constructive critisisme it makes individuals stop and think about what he said rather then read or forget. not to mention his c/c was validate. as for the style part really Paw_Claw style is a more subtle thing, it has nothing to do with using suns or vivid backgrounds (as i for some reason recognise from my tutorial  that kind of ruÃÆÃâÃâïned that point) not to mention styles change and moste of the time all for the better, take me as an example, i've gone from bad cartoon-isme to above average realisme and changed allot of style between those big steps. And for a style example.. take Tim Burton, his movies may look different almoste every movie is made differently they dont look a like yet somehow you go and say hey this is a tim burton movie!? its a subtle thing.
