F2P Armor & Robe Suggestions.

Featured Replies

I am in need of at least a decent robe set for mage training. My mage level is 29, and I'm F2P.

I'd also like a decent suggestion for range training, however my range level is 5.

I would like the whole thing under 100k on the GE if possible.

My melee armor consists of: rune chain, rune h4 shield, and addy platelegs. (rune scimmy)

The different sets of robes from fist of guthix are all good options, however they do degrade over time, so it could be kind of annoying to use them a lot. The best set (stat-wise) for f2p is combat robes, then drudic mage robes.

Otherwise, if you're willing to train your runecrafting up to 50, you can get runecrafter robes from great orb project which are a good second best if you don't want to deal with degrading robes.

If not, then you're unfortunately stuck with the plain wizard hat and top.

Since your f2p, there really isn't any other robes other than the basic blue or black wizard robes. As for range, train on cows until at least 25. At 25 go to Port Sarim and go to the "jail" and kill those monsters until around level 40. At 40+ you should know some good places. Also get rid of the rune h4 shield and replace it with a regular kite. That is just extra money for the same stats.

Finally on here to update that I have officially quit! It's been fun.

How many tokens are combat and druidic sets? I don't really play FoG but it might be worth it...

I'd either GoP or FoG. GoP being more entertaining I think I'd use those robes. And Armour, just use what you can.
