fill it in black (this effect works best on dark bgs/surfaces.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

type in ur text

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

go up to filter > distort > polar coordinates > polar to rec.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

then image > rotate canvas > 90cw

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

then filter > stylize > wind (from the right)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

after that hit ctrl + F to duplicate the effect

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

THEN image > rotate canvas > 90ccw

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and finally filter > distort > polar coordinates > rec to polar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If u want to colour it just go to image > adjustments > hue/saturation and fiddle about

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

um, good guide if u can get it 2 work, but when i follow those exact steps i seem to get stuff like this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

um i dunno it happened like 5 times.

 

 

 

also lol if u change ure sig no-one will know what it is meant 2 look like

Nice outcome ^_^ Would have been nice if you provided screenshots for the steps along the way. Shows people if they are on the right track.

Purty cool, but theres an elipse limiting the burst..... you might want to find a way to fix that(other than the smudge tool, lol) :)

u can go over the writing with excactly the same but with a darker colour
