Drop rate question

Featured Replies

If I log out to save pots for about 20 seconds then log back in to kill the monster, and keep repeating this. Does this effect the drop ratio of rare drops?

I dont think it would do, as that would encourage camping and playing for long periods of time without logging out...

Im not 100% sure, but i've logged in/out and continued to get rare drops - like when i kept dc'ing at the Warriors Guild, then coming back and getting a defender.

Not at all. Logging out doesnt do anything, really.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

you always have the same chance, logging in and out doesn't do anything to the chance

I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. Thanks!

The drop rate works like a dice. An imaginary dice is rolled, and if it lands on a rare drop you get it. ;)

Yes, but if you read the question, he was asking if you log out then in will the drop rate be effected.
