I paid 100 bucks for it and its a 3.2 meg. Here is the newer version of her camera to give you an idea http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/product.asp?product=1154 Prior to my purchase I bought and tried out a few others.. so you might consider trying out a few cameras in your price range and return the ones that do not meet your needs. Personally I own a Kodak that I bought about 5 years ago... I am not sure about the current model Kodaks but cannot complain about mine.
