Devilish-D
Those are so sweet. I'm loving the hilt of the sword, the pommel is great on both the axe and sword, and i'm really loving the handle, but i'd like the stuff even more if you made a scabbard for the sword! :D

Zimlem
The sword looks great, but the black outline of the axe ruins it :s. Make a darker BG so you get some contrast. GJ. -ZIm.
unknownmasterofnothing
The weapons look good. Maybe some darker colors? Maybe anti-alias the weapons, to make it smoother.

Astralinre
Wow. The hilt on the sword looks great, and I can't wait to see the finished axe. :P For those of you who want to see a darker background. (I took the liberty of changing the bg and flipping the pic. Hope you don't mind, Korla.) "In so far as I am Man I am the chief of creatures. ghghth
Those are some really nice pictures! First of all, the sword is just awesome.. probably one of the best I have seen (in pixel form) but the axe could use some touching up. For the axe I would probably add blood or someting like that because its too much metal and not much to do with it. Even though it wouldnt make sense on how the blood got on the axe it would look awesome 8) . Sword - 10 out of 10 Axe - 8 out of

Does anyone actually read the posts before the post themselves? The reason the axe has the black outline is 'cos it ain't finished yet.... Anyhow, Looks pretty cool, you should make up more weapons, and show them. GJKIU Are they your own designs, or you get from somewhere? 'gards Lemming86 thank you lemming :D i posted the axe unfinished as i've been having some trouble finishing it and wanted a few tips :) but thanks ghghth for giving me an 8 on something unfinished :P the flipping is okay, but the shading isn't correct then. the little bits of it i've made. or rather, the light is now coming from the bottom right corner i beleive. they are not completely...how do you say it...? symmetrical :D so it's abit different now. i didn't know what colour bg to post it with so i guess i made the right choice in letting you decide. i'll use ray from now on then, abit easier on the eyes :) and i'd love to anti-alias the weapon if i knew what it meant, and where on the weapons i could do it. there aren't very large areas. also, about the light colours, i made them kinda "goodie-goodie" weapons (is suppose that's eaiser), but i have been thnking about darker themes now. thanks for the input guys
ColAvanor
anti alising means that around pixels that are solid color there are other with faded color, so things blend into each other better (ahh, i suck at explaining). However antialising is against the very idea of pixel art and I think you should not do it.

Mostly i think it needs it on the blade of the axe. Its a popular technique used to make things smoother. But it shouldn't be too smooth.
Korla
as i said the axe wasn't finished, more so now. not sure what to do with it, though. any ideas? i changed from red to green. not sure about it, though. a scabbard was hard to make lol, working on that next. now, you can also give your views on the axe even more :D since you started before it was finished
