armoured zombies

Hi.

Im wondering which armour I should use at armoured zombies. I made a topic reguarding this earlier, but I've updated it and got more armour types.

88 str, 75 atk 72 defence, 70 prayer.

#1 (Low defence, low prayer bonus, although gets bonus from void) With this setup I'd be praying piety and melee protect.

Full void melee

Dragon skim

Rune defender

Dragon boots

Berserker ring

Salve ammy e

#2 (Low defence, high prayer bonus with average str boost)

Proselyte with dragon boots, rune defender, berserker ring, salve ammy e, dragon skim. nez helm,

#3 (Average defence, best strength bonus. With this setup I'd probably just be using piety.

Fighter torso

Dragon boots

Dragon legs

Rune defender

Salve ammy e

Berserker ring

nez helm

#4 (High defence, would just be using piety, low str bonus)

Torag body, torag legs, netz helm, zerker ring, dragon square shield, d boots.

So far Im either thinking of option 2 or 4. Option 2 I can pray melee so wont need food, and ill still have a relativley high prayer bonus and can camp at armoured zombies for ages. Option 4 I can last a fair while and tank it, just praying piety. I'd have to recharge prayer more, but I can train easier. Option 1 is void dont really have much opinion on that as I've only used it a few times. Option 3 never tried it, could be good, not sure if I'd pray melee or not though?

Any opinions appreciated.

You don't have 68 summoning right?

If thats the case 3.

Although I would mix veracs skirt in there or intertwine the guthans set (will make up for the lack of bunyip).

I would use a Verac's Skirt instead of the Dragon Legs for number 3. You get better defense and a prayer bonus to help out some. Also using a God Cloak to get +3 prayer would help. Unless you have a Trimmed Skillcape which i doubt you do.

Ok thankyou all I will try the torso/veracs skirt method. I will never be raising defence, I raised defence on my main and I dont like it at all.

I will get 75 and stay their. Although I will be raising summoning when I get enough charms.

May I ask why no one likes the proselyte method praying melee and piety? I've had alot of responses and no one says this method. You only lose prayer slightly faster than with method 3, and with proselyte you can camp their for ages because you dont get hit.

The ranged one(s) will do a fair bit of damage before you switch prayer types.

Tanking with piety is really the best way to do AZ's.
