October 20, 200916 yr well i've been wanting to get 99 wc for a while to have a new cape and be able to wc a little faster on mages/yews but im planning on doing ivy's to 99. This is the math i've come up with. 10,301,853(exp til 99)divided by 80,000(guestimate of xp/hr at ivy's) = 129 hours of work(rounded up) 129 divided by 10(hours i play each day) = 13(rounded up) can anyone tell me if this is correct? Maybe i over guessed on the xp/hr at ivy's? if you see anything wrong with this or maybe can tell me how much time it will take please feel free to do so.
October 20, 200916 yr just so you know the speed at 99 wc and 85 on yews is roughly the same from my experience. it changes very little. as for mages they are slow not matter what. as for the ivy xp per hour 80k seems a little high but only because i have no real clue. from what i have heard from friends 50k is a reliable number ( could be totally wrong) you are probably a better judge then me other then that it seems fine what you can do is calc the number of ivys you have to cut and how long it takes you to cut one ivy that number would be more reliable good luck with your goal. i love my Woodcuting cape and i worked hard for it ( about 55k yews then 20k after for 99 fletch) i would not suggest yews unless you were either really into wc or really like hurting your wrist and smashing your head through your computer several times ~~~legoman187~~~ Clicky siggy for blogThanks Pendonub for fancy new sigThieving guide[WIP]Loyal player since May 2005 and member since November 2005 and Tifer for many years~~~legoman187~~~
October 20, 200916 yr I used to have a guide up with accurate xp per hour. With the forum change i think it is gone, anyway. I would serious take a good look at other option. One of which is in this: http://forum.tip.it/topic/201643-troacctids-woodcutting-guide/Is it Troacctids Woodcutting guide and it is very informative. I have not tried Ivy but i would say it warrants 60-70k xp per hour as well as not taking up any space in your inventory. If you have Lumberjack.. use it..If it is a little help i went from 85-99 Woodcutting in 30 days on Teaks, cutting then dropping on the Ape Atoll with a fairly steady 60-65k xp per hour. 99 Fishing | 99 Cooking | 99 Woodcutting | | 99 Herblore | 99 Prayer | | 99 Runecrafting | 99 Fletching | 99 Hitpoints | 99 Range |Youtube: AnthonyOnRS.
October 20, 200916 yr Teaks and ivy are very good exp an hour but i think ivy's are about 75k not 80k
