JoeDaStudd
Hi all, My just 5 qp and 3/4 herblore levels from being able to unlock TD's. I have little clue about herblore (all my current levels are slayer drops and farming herbs and potting them) so I need some help with power training.First question whats the cheapest way to get the 64/63 from 61 (I have the supplies to get me to 61 already), within a few hours. This means no mtk, which I'm already using for herblore.Secondly what the best (ie fastest, but resellable) way to do the above levels with about 1m. The reward from WGS is about 4.5m correct (shard/slice + elite black + the mage outfit)? Would I be able to solo TD's with my stats (in sig)?Which is going to be better with my stats for solo or duo'ing, SGS or D hally and crystal bow or rune cbow? Any tips/tricks for training herblore, WGS or TD's? Thanks in advance. PS how many brown spices (on average) would it take to get the 4 level boost? [hide=Drops]Dragon Axe x11Berserker Ring x9Warrior Ring x8SeercullDragon MedDragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kcGodsword Shard (bandos)Granite Maul x 3Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats][/hide]
Draconic
Dragon Halberd is better, as then you are not in their melee range and do not have to flip through melee prayer as well. Do not use the D Halberd's special; that should be saved for the Enhanced Excalibur, which is a free shark and Super Defence Potion every 5 minutes. Rune C'bow, sadly, tops the Crystal bow in every way. You can weild an Unholy book along with the C'bow to give +99 range bonus, just a mere one less than Crystal Bow; this also gives a nice +5 prayer bonus. PS how many brown spices (on average) would it take to get the 4 level boost? I'd bring 7-8 stews, just to be safe, but you might only need one. When you go feather dragon god, you never go back. Darkvengence
I haven't done many TD's since the RT5 update mainly because I fail to no end at finding a spot, but I used to before RT5. You could solo if you could manage to find a working spot, but duo would be best, especially on your first few trips. SGS > D Hally, his Melee never seemed very often on the first strike, and usually you can pray before he hits the second time. And use a C'bow, from my experience before the RT5 update the diamond bolts seemed to help whenever he has the shield up but was praying against melee. And on a side note EE is NOT a super defence potion, it the same as a normal defence potion.
