October 25, 200916 yr Yes, you can upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate from any version of XP or Vista, or any other version of 7, but, as already mentioned, there are very few reasons to go beyond Home Premium an most of them can be duplicated with low-cost, and even free, third-party software. An excellent compairason of all the major version can be found here.
