Hi, i created a thread on the runescape forums with suggestions aimed to help official clans:

1. A toggle option for corrupt items and explorer rings (like food,potions etc.).

 

2. The option for clan leaders to rank members in their clan without adding them as a friend.

 

3. An addition to the runescape map for clan generals+. They should be able to view clan members locations in runescape. This would increase the pulls of clans in wars and increase the competativeness of clan wars.

 

4. Clan leaders should have the option to personalise a cape for their clan that can only be worn if you are put on a selected list. (e.g. max of 100 people allowed to wear the particular cape).

 

5. Allow clans to have a maximum capacity of 150 or 200.

 

6. A new clan wars map that has only the features of clan wars classic centre bounds. It would be 1/2 the size of plateau and it would be very useful in the jagex cup and leagues suchas TWR.

 

7. A rank above general that only 3-5 people can possess in a clan chat. This is useful if the clan is very active in different timezones. The selected few will have the same powers as the leader.

1: I understand that corrupt items may be unwanted in CWA, but why explorer ring?

 

2: I support this one

 

3: Hmm...If clan members are online, they are obligated to come to wars unless they wish to face penalities... So you are suggesting for officers to moniter whether or not clan members are online?

 

4: I would imagine it to be difficult to implement considering how many clans there are, but if Jagex can do it, I support.

 

5: Expanding clan chat limit is always a great idea.

 

6: Not really needed in my opinion since it test clan's discipline to not go out of bounds.

 

7: I do not really understand this one, do you mean the clan chat owner? If so I guess it could be a decent idea.

1. Agreed. Although I am a firm believer that people that can afford both, SHOULD be able to use them.

 

2. Support. Right now it gets a bit too cumbersome.

 

3. No support. Clan members need their privacy. Besides, people might use this feature to, say, track down their BH target.

 

4. I believe there is already a suggestion like this somewhere... with clan initials... support.

 

5. Make it like 500...

 

6. I would much rather go for a new map that replicates the GDZ area where clans usually fight in wars.

Great suggestions, although i would like to see a clan war ruling system implemented for wars that take place at Gdz, people will stop complaining about rule breaking if that was to happen.

They are currently working updates to cc's that will benefit clans. Being able to change ranks from accounts that have been granted access (leadership). Also I believe they are working on "Tags" for clans (not sure how they will be granted). This will be something tied to your rsn and not like display names. As for the CWA stuff I am not sure about.

 

Jagex has been working on alot of clan updates lately.

Same heard some guy attached a bomb to his thread. He warned everyone to get off so Hopefully the casualties were low. I think Ralph has a screenie.

I'm really liking the idea of a clan tag. Haven't read the post on Jagex forums tbh, but it seems like what you are suggesting are very good ideas as I can see from other peoples posts. So thanks. :thumbup:
