Rushers at sc

Featured Replies

Well I'm wondering: is there any tactic against a lvl 138 rusher who just gets 1 lv 4 dagger and then storms your base? - He keeps protecting his item, and even smite doesn't seem to do the trick! - And since he's stronger there's no possiblity to gain an advantage (he just dies and rushes back in 3-4 seconds)..

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

An elite tactical squadron of level 99 mages would do the trick. Otherwise, I think you're fubar'd.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

wow, how nice >.>

Heck with this tactic even a lvl 3 can annoy a high lvl until he quits..

1) Play Defensive: Get armor, defense potions, and stockpile food. You can also send your familiar after him.

2) Play Defensive: Kill him, then run away and hope he won't find you again.

hmm I tried freezing: but that just lowers the score you get: and he'll get you eventually (especially in 5 v 5 teams)... same for defensive play (I could run, but that means my team mates are vulnerable, and you can't get that 1 c4/c5 clay point that's in the game, so you'll loose eventually).

So far the only tactic seems to pile such a person every time he comes back, yet is this can't be the best fighting tactic in runescape can it?

I simply barrage them to death, everytime they come back. And they never even reach me. Just time your spells right, and keep your distance between him and you. It's really easy. First cast one Ice Barrage, then one Shadow Barrage, followed by another Ice Barrage. Then run away a bit, and cast another Ice Barrage. Run back a bit further and cast Ice Barrage one more time. He gets frozen again, and he never even reached you. Rine and repeat. You'll get called a farcaster a lot, but who cares. I'd call it tactic.

Problem with rushers is: they get near your base before when you have gathered like 3-4 clay only (and thus spent everything on the best tool, and maybe 1 piece of weapon)
