mario_sunny
I've been working on this signature off and on for about four months now. I spent about three quarters of the time just working on the dog, which is probably the most detailed. On Friday I was sick of getting nowhere with the pixel and decided to do the entire background over the weekend. I hope you enjoy it. The pixel is in my signature now. V By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( . Shiny
The colours are a bit saturated, but I like it! Good work on the pixel, pixels are no small feat.

mario_sunny
woah! soldier on champ What does 'soldier on champ' mean? Some sort of European term? Redplanet- You're right... I just realized its a bit too 'colorful.' I might try to go back and fix that later. But for now, I'm pretty tired. :P By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. NoFuns
This is really good. I personally like the high-contrast brightness of it.A+ pixel, can't imagine the hours that it took. unknowz
What method did you use to shade/texture the dog?Cause by zooming in it looks really random. I'm just wondering, cause usually you'd want to avoid scribbling in pixeling, unless you really know what you're doing. It does look nice though, maybe a bit too saturated. I don't how to really describe any methods I used. For the randomness (especially on the hills and plains), I chose about 10 green/brown colors and speckled them all about the page. As I approached the eight color, my strokes became less random and more short, curvy lines. When I reached the 10th color, I just used dots. Then I went back and choose some other colors to give it some shading, to make it look 3D. You wouldn't want grassy plains to be uniform would you? That's just not natural... By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. unknowz
Yeah I figured you did something like that. It can work, but it really depends on the situation, so don't rely on that technique too much. Also I just noticed that the tree is out of perspective. It should be much larger. It can work, but it really depends on the situation, so don't rely on that technique too much. Also I just noticed that the tree is out of perspective. It should be much larger. The lake area gave me the most trouble. I tried enlarging it and placing it back in there, but it looked awkward and way too big. The tree is actually the perfect size I'm looking for... its the reeds that surround it that should be smaller. I am just really tired from working over 60 hours on this, so I don't really feel like going back and editing that right now. But I'm glad you pointed that out. unknowz
Actually nevermind. The tree and everything else will be fine if you make the road smaller.
