Treasure Trail requirements

Featured Replies

I want to say first that I searched and did not find anything about this anywhere. If it has already been posted I apologize...

Recently I did a treasure trail that had this clue:

Cheer in the Barbarian Agility Arena.

Headbang before you talk to me.

Equip a steel plate body, maple shortbow,

and a Wilderness cape.

I used a potion to raise my agility to enter, but it still would not let me do it (i even did the emote correctly and was wearing the gears required). After I got lvl 35 agility which was the level required to enter the course, it let me do it and I completed the emote. Today I got the same kind of problem from this clue:

Blow a raspberry in the Fishing Guild bank.

Beware of double agents!

Equip an elemental shield, blue dragonhide chaps,

and rune warhammer.

I used an admiral pie to enter the fishing guild and attempted to do the emote, but it would not let me. I believe Jagex has updated the game to where you must have the level requirements and can no longer use temporary boosts to do the clue scrolls. I thought I would post this here just in case this is true.

It seems fine for me... (I had the fishing guild one, used the pie, and it worked well :D ) also, you need to do exactly as the clue said, and I belive there is a set spot for each, not sure, someone confirm?

So you boosted to enter the Barbarian Agility Course, but you could not enter? Or did you successfully enter, but could not complete the clue?

He said had boosted to enter the agility course, however, as he didn't have the stats required normally to enter (35 agility) it didn't allow him to complete his TT. And only upon achieving level 35, he said, was he allowed to finish the TT. Likewise with his clue that he says required him to go to the Fishing guild, as he himself didn't have the stats to enter without boosting them via potion/pie it supposidly didn't allow him to complete his TT.

We have not been able to corroborate this submission. The game usually checks your level at the door to the restricted area, not once you are in it. Difficulties with clue scrolls are far more likely to be incorrect gear or being in the wrong place.

If someone else can post that they had this issue, we can look at it again.

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
