Fishing Potions

As they're relatively cheap at about 100 GP per dose, would it be worthwhile to use fishing potions while fishing close to a bank (ie. Monkfish, Catherby or Guild)? I could just keep a 4 doser in my inventory and take a sip every time I restored back to my base level. Since I'd be close to a bank, I don't think the inventory spot lost would have that significant of a difference. If anything I could probably just drop the potion, bank, and come back to pick it up.

How much would an average 2 level boost help?

If you have a decent summoning level they aren't worth the time as the Ibis will give the same boost and forage, and they would be worth it in theory I think most people just don't want to deal with them as fishing is a very relaxing skill.

Would the Ibis/granite lob boost stack with the fishing potion? Do invisible boost stack with visible ones?

Tbh, I'd be willing to take a sip if for three minutes I'd be getting slightly enhanced fishing, provided that slight enhancement is actually worthwhile.

Potion does stack with familiar boosts.

I'd say it's not worth the hassle, though.

No quote Garfield, where else can you take a 3 hour nap and call it sport?

It would probably be worth it at something like barbarian fishing (Unless you need as much inventory as possible, I'm not sure) where you need constant attention, but it's all about what you want from the skill.
