Hey guys, I've decided to go for 70 rc, and I really just want to get it out of the way; Im currently at 62

 

any suggestions on the quickest ways to do that?

ZMI and Steam runes are the fastest exp possible.

If you don't have the required magic level (78?), don't bother with ZMI. Same goes for Steam, as you require a lunar spell for this.

 

If so, Law runes / Death runes through abbys is the quickest, simplest method. (Deaths after 65, if you completed MEP2).

Nature runes are a bit better money, but less experience (chance to double).

 

Also, if you complete WGS, you get nice lamps which are great to use on RC!

Close, lvl 71 actually... but yes ZMI is going to be your best bet for fast xp. Around lvl 60 Runecrafting you start to profit every so slightly from ZMI. I usually just bring a few dozen laws and astrals while holding an earth staff. More often then not I actually craft the runes I need to tele. You can either tele to lunar island and use that bank, or you could tele back to the ZMI and pay 20 runes to bank there. Honestly I haven't seen much speed difference between the two.

Or do it old school and use the fire rune method with the dueling rings? It brings in decent experience if you stay focused but you do lose alot of gp.

Combo runes are much, much faster than fire runes. In fact, nature runes are faster than fire runes too, aren't they? And they make a profit.
