squidsquash
I'm looking for ways to get my crafting up to 60 in F2P, my current level is 55. I used a calc to see that I need just over 3k hard leather bodies to get this, and according to the GE this should cost me over 800k, which is ridiculous for 5 low levels (IMO) I'm willing to take a route that is a bit slower than this to save a little money, but I can't think of any. Any ideas?
Dare589
Using gold bars to make gold ammies. That way, you won't lose, and if you buy gold bars at med, you'll even profit a bit. Ammies sell for max on ge instantly, so. Clickie the signature image for me blog. Vox populi, vox dei.
Arieondor
You could always kill some of the cows yourself and bank the hides? I personally like making tiaras, mine the silver in the crafting guild. There really isn't many great crafting options out there for f2p... Hobgoblinpie
Sapphire Necklaces and emerald rings also work. Last time I tried sapphire necklaces they made profit (about a week and a half ago). You get 55xp per necklace, so at your level, it should be pretty quick (buy cut sapphires, not uncuts). POH Agility Course, Please Support! squidsquash
Where is the best place to go for banking/smelting? I am currently working in Al Kharid, it seems too far away to be the best.

I never thought of that... Would people actually buy hard leather bodies though? I imagine over 3k of them would be tough to get rid of...

So i would say you could sell them. They require 10 defence, not 1. That's why they take forever to sell. Instead of selling them, alch them with your ring. You get 68gp per body instead of 51gp. Also, follow Dare and Hobgoblinpie's responses.
