Has anyone tested out the new prayers yet?

Sap Range/x

Leech range/x

 

I ask because I solo graa'dor with range, so basically how long does it take for sap and leech to power up? And would sap be better since it would also reduce his ranged attack? Does the -20% beat out the 15% bonus you'd get from normal prayers? I am guessing yes?

Sap you may as well use normal prayers as its such a weak drain so bonsues general better.

Leech is win as it gives bonus and weakens

So the saps take to long to power up then?

No sap is just worse effect.

 

Knocking 10% off eventually reaching 20% is not as useful as 15% boost (or like 25% if ur on melee and piety)

 

Where as knocking 10% rising to 25% off while boosting yourself 5% to rising to 10% balances out to be more useful

I suppose, but with leech range which can be applicable to kree you already use range protect. And at Graa I guess the would reduce his damage while you solo, but so would sap and sap would ALSO reduce his defense.

 

And I just tested out sap against my friend, he said it never went higher then -12%, and it would even fall back down to 10-11%.

 

So I don't know.

 

Also I wonder, sap melee and sap range both reduce defense. I wonder if that would stack with eachother?

 

Edit: Sadly, they do not.

Leeches are better then saps. They may start at the same drain, but from first hand experience they drain faster and they go up to their higher % drain faster :P

Saps and leeches reduce by percentage the variables that effect attack and defence for each stat.

For melee/warrior this literally means the defence stat

But for range and mage your defence is more heavily tied up in your mage and range themselves
