The graahk is definitely worth using. It's at least 10% faster and a lot less annoying.

I think the figures were something along the lines of, with Graahk'ing you can convert 22k experience worth of nature runes, whereas with the abyss method it was only 18k exp worth.

 

However, I'm not positive about that.
